Sammy has been serving here at Calvary Chapel San Diego since August of 2000 as a Youth Pastor. He believes that ministering to the youth of today is a very important calling. This is the age where people discover who they are and/or will become. His purpose is to help our teens find a fullness of life in Jesus Christ (John 10:10), to help them find their identity in Him, and to live their lives with reckless abandon for the things of God. To some this may seem difficult, but Sammy is convinced that all things are possible with our God.

Charles and Linda Becerra

Charles and Linda have been attending Calvary Chapel San Diego since February 2007. They have served in youth ministry since 2003 and here at Calvary since February 2008. Charles and Linda’s heart for the youth is for them to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them grow in His grace and knowledge.

Dale and Liz Duvall

Dale and Liz Duvall both received the Lord Easter Sunday 2000.  They have attended Calvary Chapel for all 9 years and have served in the Awana program for 5 years.  Dale has been working for Calvary Christian Academy as a PE teacher, Jr. High Advisor and coach for the last 3 years.  Their passion is to see the young adults receive Jesus Christ and to grow in Him through studying the Word of God and discipleship.  They have 3 wonderful children, Ericka, Jordan and Amanda.

Ramona Lopez

Ramona has been a Christian for 22 years.  She has attended Calvary SD since 2002.  Her passion is prayer and desire is to help the youth draw close to God through prayer.  “We need to pray for continued spiritual growth as well as strength and endurance to follow Jesus.  Let us pray that our youth will fall in love with Jesus!”

Colossians 1:10 “That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;”

Malia Mason

Malia Mason

Malia is excited to be involved with the Youth Ministry. Her desire if to make Christ known and provoke the youth to good works. Her heart is especially for the ladies, that they will be encouraged and diligent in their worship and the calling of the Lord in their lives.

Nick

Nick Owsley

Nick has been a Christian for 19 years and has attended Calvary San Diego for 11 of those years. He worked with the Jr. High ministry for 4 years while in high school. Nick is a single father to a beautiful 3 year old daughter. Along with raising his daughter he wants to help teens find their identity in Christ and to help them draw nearer to Him.
